Curators: The "Curatorial Team" from the Ecoart - Curatorial Project, guided by Manuel Fadat and Isabelle Muller.

Ecoart - Curatorial Project is a new project launched by the Centre des arts. Over the course of a year, a group of students - the "Curatorial Team" - coached and guided by the independent curator and art historian Manuel Fadat, built an exhibition from start to finish, discovering this domain and all its complexity.

Through the various phases (preparatory workshops, definition of the curatorial intention, selection of artists, scenography, catalogue, communication, press conference, vernissage, installation...), students learned the subtleties of curating exhibitions and of contemporary art.

A THEME CONCEIVED BY THE CURATORIAL TEAM
Immersed in this experience, the Curatorial Team came up with a "curatorial intention," in other words the theme of the exhibition, which would guide the choice of artists and works.

Students highlighted a central theme, that of "evolution," rapidly changing it to the plural, as there are not one but many "evolutions."

A fantastic source of inspiration for exhibitions, the theme "evolution(s)" reminds us that everything is in motion, perpetually undergoing transformation (humans, the living, the planet, the cosmos, but also society, relationships between individuals, the arts, culture, politics, technology...).

EVOLUTION(S): AN OPEN AND TRANSVERSAL EXHIBITION
The exhibition, conceived as open and transversal, designed to be as representative as possible of contemporary creation in its many forms, practices and dimensions, is constituted of a rich set of relationships with existence, art and the world: poetry, philosophy, imagination - all will guide you in this fabulous journey.

In parallel, a group of students led by artist and teacher Gilles Grassioulet has conceived and created several collective works of art inspired by the curatorial intention. These works will be exhibited as part of the exhibition and will hold a well-deserved place in the catalogue.
